I’ve been spending more hours than I care to admit to on Pinterest lately. If you plan on ever building a house, it’s a dream tool – I’ve familiarized our builder and realtors with it now! Mostly, I pin paint colors and fixtures and overall “schemes” for the room, and as we’ve picked details I’ve been pinning examples at the ‘rents’ request.
I stumbled upon this idea using coffee beans a while back and thought, hey – there’s something I can do quickly and inexpensively – no major project or heaven forbid, building, required! Rather than stashing a jumble of brushes in my drawer, I now have exactly what I need at hand…and it reminds me of how Sephora displays their brushes in the stores!

Cool idea. Now if only I used makeup I could copy this idea. LOL.
I did this too! I have 3, face brushes, eyeliners, and the third is kind of a mish mash.. mascaras, concealer brushes, eyebrow brushes, under eye roller… just random stuff that I use every day. I love it! I also made an over the sink shelf to put them on. I got a plain plaque/wood shelf thing from Hobby Lobby, and then some taller leg type pieces, painted everything then gorilla glued it together because everything can be solved with gorilla glue, hot glue, duct tape, and liquid stitch. I use those tacky poster board adhesives (kinda like clay?) to do a mild securing to the mirror. LOVE it. I just wish I had a separate vanity, it would make my makeup storage so much easier……
